At Pruce Dental, we know that if you’re a denture wearer, there’s is nothing more embarrassing than having your denture slip or shift – and usually at the most inconvenient times. Until recently, the only option available for holding dentures in place was dental adhesives that made a mess and weren’t all that effective anyway.
But modern technology has made it possible for us to retain your dentures securely in place with dental implants. You may know dental implants as a replacement for missing teeth, and they are highly effective when used for that purpose.
What you may not realize, though, is that implants can also be used to stabilize dentures and hold them firmly in place. The implant is placed in your jawbone and bonds with surrounding bone and tissue and becomes part of your dental anatomy!
Once the implant is in place, we can attach your denture to it for a completely secure fit. While dental implants do a great job of holding your denture in place, it’s important to remember that you still need to remove the denture at night and for cleaning.
We would be happy to schedule a consultation to answer your questions about dental implants in Washington, PA can help improve the fit, feel, and stability of your dentures.
