Robert L. Pruce, DMD, was born and raised locally in Canonsburg. After completing high school in the Canon McMillian School District, he attended Washington and Jefferson College. There, he majored in chemistry and completed the pre-medicine program.
Dr. Pruce received his dental training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation in 1996, Dr. Pruce was selected as one of only three doctors from his graduating class for a one-year residency staff position at the University of Pittsburgh Dental School, a program known as the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Program.
Three months into his AEGD residency, Dr. Pruce launched the opening of his private practice in McMurray. After 21 years, he moved his practice to North Strabane's Park Place Plaza and continues to serve families from Peter's Township, Canonsburg, North Strabane, Bethel Park, Washington and the surrounding communities of the Greater South Hills area.
Continuing education remains an important part of Dr. Pruce's professional life. He attends numerous seminars and hands-on courses to give his patients the best care possible. Dr. Pruce is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry and is a founding member of a local Spears study club.
When not working, Dr. Pruce enjoys spending time with his wife, Michele, and sons, Ethan and Noah.
Amber attended medical assisting classes at the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) Washington County Center. She takes great pride in our office and her favorite part of the job is her daily interaction with the patients and learning about their lives.
In her spare time Amber enjoys anything associated with the outdoors such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, observing wildlife or visiting her campsite in Tionesta. When unable to get outside Amber spends her time painting or drawing. Amber also has a Siberian Husky named Koda.
Prior to her dental career Amanda studied at Le Cordon Blue College of Culinary Arts and worked in fine dining establishments. Even though Amanda is the newest member of our team she is passionate about helping our patients learn the benefits of good oral health and how it can enhance their lives.
In her free time, Amanda looks for anything adventurous such as riding quads, motorcycles and dirt bikes. She enjoys spends time with family, friends and especially her boyfriend of 10 years and her 4-year-old niece. Amanda has two dogs, named Bentley and Bailey and a cat named Tucker.
