How can we help you?
One of the most important things we do at Pruce Dental is patient education. Before we decide on a treatment, we will answer all your questions and provide the information you need to make an educated decision about your oral health care.
You may not be at the point where you are ready to commit to treatment. Maybe you just need some information. We encourage you to ask questions because it helps us understand what's on your mind and how we can help.
Here are a few of the questions we hear frequently, but you may need an answer that you don't see here. We would be happy to find the information you are looking for. Please call our office at (724) 942-1400 or fill out our convenient online contact form.
It’s a common mistake to think that primary teeth don’t have a role to play in your child’s dental development. But the fact is that baby teeth exist to hold a place for the permanent teeth that are developing in your child’s jaw.
A healthy baby tooth will continue to hold that space open until it’s time for it to fall out naturally. But if a problem occurs and the tooth is lost too soon due to decay or disease, neighboring teeth gradually start to drift into the empty space. This movement can lead to crowding and the possible need for orthodontic treatment in the future.
The best way to ensure that your child’s baby teeth are healthy and developing correctly is to schedule an appointment with Dr. Robert Pruce. During this visit, Dr. Pruce will review your child’s oral health and provide hygiene recommendations as well as advice for issues like bottle-feeding and thumb-sucking.
We enjoy treating kids at our Washington, PA dental office and would love to welcome you and your little one to Pruce Dental. Please call us to arrange an appointment for your child so we can ensure that their dental development stays on track.
We love treating kids and helping them get a head start on a lifetime of excellent oral health. Our team has lots of experience working with children, and we know how to give them the individual attention they need to feel comfortable and at ease.
It is especially important to treat children with a gentle touch and help them to feel safe and secure when they’re with us. The best thing we can do for your child is to help them see that dental visits are not something to be afraid of.
Too many adults have had negative dental experiences and grown up to avoid dentists because of fear and anxiety. We certainly don’t want this to happen to your child!
We offer children’s dentistry at our Washington, PA dental office for kids from the ages of two and up but will be happy to see your child before that if you have concerns.
By this age, they usually have several of their baby teeth, and we need to monitor the condition of these very important teeth to keep them healthy. Losing a tooth too early due to decay can create more complicated oral health problems in the future.
We welcome the opportunity to meet your child and let them get to know us in our calm and friendly office setting. Please contact us to arrange that all-important first visit
