Your Relief Is Our First Priority

You can’t plan for a dental emergency, but we can! We understand the importance of getting immediate relief, so we always make time in our schedule for our emergency patients. Simply call our office during regular business hours, and we’ll arrange to see you as soon as possible, usually the same day.

Emergencies that occur after hours can be particularly upsetting because you may have the feeling that you are on your own until the next day. You deserve the peace of mind that comes with knowing that your emergency is a priority for us no matter what time of day it is. If you have an after-hours emergency, simply call our main office number and leave a message.

We check our messages regularly and will get back to you as quickly as possible. We will listen to your concerns and tell you how to handle the situation until we can see you. Dr. Pruce and our team will do everything we can to make sure you get the treatment you need when it matters most.

What Is a Dental Emergency?

The most common dental emergency is a severe toothache. In some cases, a toothache can make you so miserable that you find it impossible to go about your daily activities.

When a painful tooth prevents you from working, accomplishing routine tasks, and meeting your everyday responsibilities, we know that you need help – and fast. That’s why we’ll make your emergency a priority.

Some of the dental emergencies we can resolve for you are:

  • Injury to one or more teeth
  • A chipped or broken tooth
  • A tooth that’s been knocked out
  • A severe or sudden toothache
  • Development of abscess or infection

Many dental emergencies can be avoided with routine dental visits that allow us to identify problems before they become emergencies. But we want you to know that we will never judge or blame you. We are happy to help you get the care you need, no matter what condition your teeth are in.

If you have an emergency and are not sure whether you require immediate treatment, please call our office right away at (724) 942-1400.
